Discovery, 'Process of gathering information' Form interrogaties are standard questions to provide information generallyy on property, income and employment and other information that affect the division of property and calculating support and making custody orders. Special interrogaties are specifically drafted questions that seek specific information on certain issues. Demand for Production of Documents request information from the other side and are usually used to obtian information to assist one on property issues.  Subpoenas are issued to do the following: have someone appear at court, bring documents to court or another place. Depositions require that a perston testify under oath like in court, but this occurs usually at an office.  Parties and witesses are usually attend depositions.  Request for Admissions are often used to have a party admit or deny a fact.  This assists in other areas of discovery and preparation for trial.
