- Things you can do to prepare:
a. Keep a journal of your children's activities and the parties that participate in these activities.
b. Keep acurate financial records.
c. Do not allow yourself to be prevoked by the other party or by anyone that could cause you to react to a situation with anger or excessie emotion.
d. Awareness of you banking accounts/balances/activities.
e. Avoid new or any increase of community debt.
f. Protect items of emotional or personal value. Make sure nothing is hindered that you care about from the other party out of revenge or spite.
g. Speak to a financial advisor or an accountant regarding legally safe guarding your assets.
